March’s real estate numbers are in and the Barrie area once again saw unbelievable growth.

According to the Barrie & District Association of Realtors, the average selling price for residential properties in Oro-Medonte rose 80 per cent last month. Properties were being sold at an average price of $812,206.

In Barrie, the cost of a detached home hit an average asking price of $604,227, an increase of 42 per cent. Townhouse and semi-detached homes hit $427,225, up 32 per cent.

Condominiums rose 34 per cent, hitting an average price of $330,000.

Detached residential properties in Innisfil hit an average asking price of $721, 204. That’s up about 55 per cent.

The average selling price in Essa Township rose 49 per cent to $643,099.

In Springwater, prices hit $751,310, up 33 per cent.
