A Holland Landing senior is in hospital with critical injuries after she was struck by a vehicle in Newmarket.
Emergency crews rushed to the area of Yonge Street and Bristol Road on Monday, just after 1:50 p.m.
An 87-year-old woman was transported to hospital with what looked to be minor injuries. However, her conditioned worsened and her injuries are now considered life threatening.
The driver, a 36-year-old woman from Newmarket, was not injured.
York Regional Police are hoping to speak with any witnesses.
