Flood watches issued April 3 warning of a high potential for flooding are being continued.

The Nottawasaga Valley Conservation Authority warns dangerous conditions remain near all waterways.

Rain and warm temperatures are forecast for most of the week, with Environment Canada reporting a high chance of rain and mid-double-digit temperatures Thursday.

As of Monday, the NVCA said there is still considerable snow cover in the watershed, although many open areas in the south are becoming snow-free.

The Lake Simcoe Region Conservation Authority is also maintaining a flood watch.

The spring melt has area watercourses flowing above normal and the additional rain could mean water levels will rise.

However, no major flooding is anticipated.
