The Ministry of Natural Resources says a flood warning remains in effect for the Parry Sound – Muskoka on Wednesday.
MNR officials say that flooding is occurring within some low-lying, flood prone areas – like areas that have seen flooding in the past.
Currently the rate-of-rise in river and lake levels is beginning to slow, but that is expected to change as flows and levels peaking over the next 24-48 hours.
Residents are advised to continue keeping a close watch on conditions and exercise caution around water as levels and flows continue to rise into next week.
