A fire Thursday night destroyed a garage in the small village of Kinmount in Kawartha Lakes.
The Kawartha Lakes Fire Department tells CTV News the fire broke out around 9:00 p.m. in the detached garage on County Road 121.
Officials say the fire destroyed the garage and spread to the nearby house where firefighters were able to put out the fire.
Three stations, Kinmount, Burnt River, and Fenelon Falls, responded to the fire with roughly 25 firefighters. Crews had to deal with tough weather conditions while fighting the fire as there was lots of snow falling.
Nobody was injured in the fire and investigators are still trying to determine the cause.
