The finalists for the Barrie Business Awards have been announced.

Barrie Mayor Jeff Lehman announced the nominees for each of the 10 categories on Wednesday, which included“Entrepreneur of the Year”, “Young Professional of the Year”, and “Community Builder.”

Lehman says it’s all about acknowledging the important role that local businesses play in building the city.

The award gala takes place on Nov. 9.
