Environment Canada is looking into whether a tornado may have touched down yesterday near Erin, south of Orangeville.
At least two videos showing a funnel cloud swirling above a field have surfaced on social media. Environment Canada is reviewing that video to determine if the funnel cloud became a tornado.
Severe weather meteorologist Geoff Coulson said whatever it was, was short lived and appeared to have stayed over open fields.
There have been no reports of damage.
