An elderly woman has died after she was struck by a motorcycle in Caledon.
The collision happened on Airport Road, north of King Street on Friday just before noon. Provincial police say the motorcycle was travelling south on Airport, when the woman was struck while crossing the street.
The 84-year-old was transported from the scene by EMS with serious injuries, but later died as a result of her injuries. The motorcyclist sustained minor injuries.
Caledon OPP closed the road in both directions for several hours, but it has since reopened.
The collision is still under investigation.
