Two seniors from East Gwillimbury have been identified as the victims in Monday’s fatal crash in Georgina.
York Regional Police say the driver of a Ford Fusion, a 71-year-old woman, and her passenger, a 72-year-old man, died when their car collided with a dump truck.
The crash happened on McCowan Road, near Baseline Road, at around 12:17 p.m.
The investigation is ongoing and anyone with information is asked to contact police or anonymously Crime Stoppers.
