It was a bitter cold and long battle for firefighters in New Tecumseth after a fire engulfed a shed early on Saturday morning.
New Tecumseth fire crews were called to 7118 Sixth Line, around 3:25 a.m. where they found a shed engulfed in flames. To make matters more difficult, an adjacent propane tank was caught in the fire and started to vent.
Fire officials say they targeted the tank first, before turning their attention to the shed. Firefighters describe the building as being a total loss.
A cause has not yet been determined and no injuries are reported.
The investigation is expected to continue over the coming days.
