Emergency crews were called to a farm in Innisfil on Saturday afternoon after a hay baler caught fire, while a farmer was working in the field.
It happened on a farm south of Innisfil Beach Road on Saturday at around 3 p.m. According to investigators, crews were also forced to extinguish blazing hay bales the machine had made while it was on fire.
Firefighters were able to stop the flames from spreading to a nearby forest.
No injuries are reported. It’s not yet clear what caused the baler to catch fire.
