As the Toronto Maple Leafs continue preparations for the 2014/15 season in Collingwood, the town is saying thank-you.

On Thursday morning, Collingwood mayor Sandra Cooper presented Leafs head coach Randy Carlyle with a small gift to say thanks for coming to the town.

In a tweet, the Toronto Maple Leafs showed a picture of Cooper and Carlyle talking.

The Toronto Maple Leafs are in Collingwood for three days of off-ice training.
