A 47-year-old man has been arrested for stealing a senior couple’s car in Barrie on Saturday afternoon.
Police were responsing to a disturbance at Barr's Motel on Essa Road when the man was arrested for an outstanding parole warrant.
The police identified the man as also being reponsible for stealing a car from an senior couple while they were loading their trunk with groceries at Wellington Plaza.
The car was recovered without damage.
He is in police custody and being investigated in connection to other outstanding matters.
