A Toronto man has been charged with stunt driving after OPP say they clocked a vehicle traveling more than double the speed limit in Caledon Sunday afternoon.

Police say an officer was conducting speed enforcement on Heart Lake Road when the officer spotted BMW travelling at a high rate of speed determined to be 131 km/h in a posted 60 km/h zone.

The vehicle was impounded for seven days as a result of the stunt driving charge.

The 39-year-old driver is due to appear in court at a later date.
