The second annual Newmarket Buskerfest and street art festival took place Saturday.
Buskers love the chance to get out and show people what they’re capable of.
"I like the atmosphere,” said Mike ‘Hurricane’ Thompson. “It’s sort of carnival like and everything and it's a chance to show your wears."
“The festival is great. It's a good chance to get out and meet some people, see some friends and make new ones."
The festival has 30 different stage shows and 20 buskers including baton twirlers, contemporary dancers, and even magic acts.
Organizers are encouraging people to submit an audition tape showcasing your talent in order to be considered for next year’s festival.
