The Township of Adjala-Tosorontio issued a burning ban Friday afternoon.
The ban was prompted by dry conditions and fires, including one near Tottenham that burnt several acres of open land and brush.
The Township says they have seen several grassfires in the recent weeks.
Adjala-Tosorontio Fire Department has issued a BURN BAN effective immediately due to several grass fires - May 1 2015 03:28:09 pm.
