A boy is in hospital with serious injuries after a head-on ATV crash in Adjala-Tosorontio.
The 11-year-old boy was a passenger on an ATV that was being driven by his uncle when they crested a hill and collided with another ATV.
The crash happened on a trail just off the 6th Concession at around 6:30 p.m. on Sunday.
The boy was taken to an Alliston hospital, but was later transported to a Toronto trauma centre with serious head injuries. It’s unclear if anyone else was injured.
The driver of the second ATV, a 42-year-old Alliston man, has been charged with driving while disqualified.
The accused will appear in court next month.
