As many as ten thousand people will take part in the three day Muskoka Arts and Crafts show, which means big business for local vendors.
Close to two hundred artisans will offer up their talents.
“They come from all over Ontario, Quebec, New Brunswick and as close as Muskoka,” says organizer Elene Freer.
Potter Scott Barnim has been showing at the show for thirty five years, and says business is always great.
“The Friday of the show…was the biggest retail day of my year,” he says.
Another artisan, Wendy Perkes, was at the show for the first time, and has already sold more than half her pieces.
“Excellent! We are through the roof!”
The show is also keeping local businesses busy.
For the Old Station restaurant, it’s almost as busy as it was on Canada Day.
“Top two busiest days of the year,” says the restaurant manager.
“The more events we have, the better it is for the community,” says Bracebridge Councillor Don Smith.
The show wraps up at 4pm on Sunday.
