Barrie Police have released surveillance photos of a suspected wanted for sexually assaulting sex trade workers at knife point.
The Barrie Police Criminal Investigation Services are currently investigating two separate incidents.
Police say in both incidents the man responded to internet advertisement via social media and would meet the victims at local hotels in Barrie and sexually assault them while armed with a knife.
The suspect has yet to be identified and is believed to still be active in Barrie.
He is described as:
- White
- 30 to 35 years old
- 5’3” to 5’8” tall
- 250 lbs with a heavy build
- Short dark hair
- Clean shaven
- He speaks with a speech impediment or lisp.
Police are warning women involved in the sex trade industry to be extremely cautious dealing with male clients.
