Police have made an arrest just days after human remains were found near Parry Sound.
Officers with the West Parry Sound OPP detachment made the arrest on Tuesday, but haven’t provided context on who the person is or if they’ve been charged.
The remains were found on a snowmobile trail near Nobel Road in McDougall Township on Sunday afternoon.
The OPP are working with Peel Regional Police on the death probe. Details of an autopsy report have not been released.
The investigation is ongoing.
