The accused in a homicide last week in Huntsville will make his first court appearance on Tuesday.

Charles Hayhoe was arrested on Thursday night and charged with second-degree murder in the death of Michel Earl.

The OPP say they were called to Aspdin Road for a reported assault involving Hayhoe and Earl. Earl, 45, was rushed to hospital with serious injuries and was later pronounced dead.

Police say Hayhoe, 42, and Earl were known to each other.

An exact cause of death hasn’t been released.
