Two teenagers have been arrested in connection to a pair of convenience store robberies.

According to Barrie police, two 13 year olds walked into the Mac’s Convenience Store on Hurst Drive on Sunday, demanding cash and cigarettes from the clerk. The suspects were armed with a knife and wore disguises.

The clerk complied and the suspect fled the scene on foot towards Coxmill Road. A canine unit was brought and police were able to track the youths.

Police believe the two boys were also responsible for a robbery on April 5 at the same Mac’s Convenience store.

The pair has been charged with robbery with a weapon and disguise with intent.

Both will appear in court at a future date.
